Pencombe House, Binstead, Isle of Wight
Pencombe House is a modern farmhouse situated in the midst of horse paddocks. The house is actually part of the Brickfields Horsecountry complex; so one advantage of being a bed and breakfast guest is free admission in to the centre. The house has only recently been built, and is very spacious and comfortable.

Pencombe House, Binstead, Isle of WightAll the rooms are en-suite, have colour televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Two of the rooms are suitable for families having a double and a single bed in each. We also have a travel cot for those requiring one.

Pencombe House, Binstead, Isle of WightBreakfast is served in the dining room with horses looking in on you from the field outside the window. Breakfast can be a full-blown English with all the trimmings, plain and simple, or anything in between; we do try our best to please all of our guests.

Pencombe House, Binstead, Isle of WightThere is a large drive in front of the house, so there is ample parking right outside the front door. We also have plenty of storage spaces for any keen cyclists to store bikes. The Island is a lovely place for cycling, there are some very good cycle tracks all over the countryside.

The other facility that we are in a good position to offer is stabling for horses and ponies. We also sell hay and bedding should anyone require it. We have three outdoor sand paddocks for general use, as well as an indoor arena, which is available for hire.

The Isle of Wight has some wonderful beaches, Ryde would be the closest just five minutes away. You can travel to most places on the Island in about half an hour or less, so there are an endless amount of beaches you could visit.

There are several good pubs and restaurants within a mile or two. We are also close to Havenstreet where you can find the Steam Railway. There is a good taxi service locally, and there is also a bus that runs regularly and stops right outside Brickfields, coming from Ryde Esplanade and running on through to Havenstreet. It is the village Link Bus; Ryde bus station should be able to give you timetable information.

While you are staying with us we can arrange horse riding for you. The riding school on site caters for all standards, so if you've never tried it why not give it a go! If you are with us on a Wednesday evening you can watch show jumping in the main indoor arena in the centre, and even better you can view it from the comfort of the bar or cafe.
