
Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill Adventure Park and Gardens have a variety of adventures and rides to keep all the family entertained, and if you go to one park, you can get to the other at a discounted rate and return for free for the next 7 days. The Needles Park overlooks the Islands most famous landmark, The Needles Rocks and Lighthouse. Sandown Pier is open all year round and is free to walk along. With Lost World adventure golf, superbowl, dodgems, amusements and magic island fantasy and fun the pier is a great treat for everyone. And because Sandown Beach has won a blue flag award we love this place as a great family treat!

The Owl and Monkey Haven is recently new to the Isle of Wight, having opened in 2010. This family run business has been developed to help rehabilitate primates and birds of prey who find themselves without a home. Going for an afternoon out or the whole day there’s plenty to do. Havenstreet is home to the award winning Isle of Wight Steam Railway, the place to go for a truly special day out. Set in the relaxing countryside, with the majestic steam trains; take a journey through time to this delightful place. These Victorian and Edwardian carriages have been beautifully restored, so a ride on one of the trains will not only fill your ears with the thrill of the puffing trains, but take you back to a unique period, where you can relax in style. From the friendly staff dressed in traditional uniform to the numerous amounts of activities the Steam Railway is an unforgettable experience.

The Isle of Wight Zoo is primarily a sanctuary for tigers and lemurs, but it also homes a variety of other animals. You can also take part in a guided tour of the zoo to meet the experienced keepers and animals and truly find out about each animal and conservation project. And with a free pass to return to the zoo for a week after your visit you can go as many times as you like if you run out of time!

Butterfly and Fountain World is home to hundreds of freely flying butterflies all in a natural environment. And being under cover if the weather does decide to take a turn there’s still something to do! The fountains and gardens have a variety of fish, oriental plans and water displays, and make sure you don’t miss out on the talks and hand feeding sessions.
Waltzing waters is one of the world’s most elaborate water, music and light productions. The show lasts for around 40 minutes and are every hour on the hour, from 10 am to 4 pm.
The only working Water Mill on the Isle of Wight exists at Calbourne Water Mill which dates back to the Domesday Book. Take a picnic along to the mill and enjoy the peace and relaxation of the surrounding area, and maybe afterwards go for a walk through the Ancient Oak Woodlands or play some miniature golf. There is also a daily milling session during the summer (except Saturdays).
Apart from the sanctuaries and conservation projects there is also the multi-award winning wildlife attraction Seaview Wildlife Encounter. This fabulous park used to be home to the flamingos, but after its expansion its beautiful, unspoilt park is now home to many more animals. You can choose to take part in the variety of talks and presentations or take a more slow paced, quiet tour of the park, at your own leisure.
